In March 2025, the Erasmus+ project “CREATE – Care, React, Engage and Act Tenaciously for a Healthy World” (2024-1-RO01-KA220-SCH-000243938) brought us back into an international environment. This time, the participants – eighth graders Urtė Samerdokaitė, Ema Jakutytė, Mintautė Samerdokaitė, Ignas Paulavičius, and Meridijus Bakšys, as well as ninth graders Markas Prokopavičius and Vilhelmas Tomas Rudinskas – accompanied by teachers Kolomba Bulotienė and Irma Greičienė, met in Slavičín, in the Zlín region of the Czech Republic.

The visit took place in a picturesque area where participants deepened their knowledge about sustainable living and business, environmental conservation, and a positive approach toward nature.

The program provided a range of memorable experiences: we visited the Žítková region, observing how people can live in harmony with nature, and explored the Kvetomluva ecological herb farm, where we learned how herbs are processed and used for health. During educational activities, we tasted local cheeses, got to know regional products and production methods, and explored traditional crafts and customs at the folk culture museum, gaining insight into the cultural heritage of the Vlachovice region.

Participants also visited a passive house, where modern energy-saving systems such as ventilation, insulation, and heating were introduced. In biomass storage facilities, students learned about local innovations aimed at reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

An important activity was developing business plans based on a task from the Technology Innovation Center. Working in teams, students proposed ideas to address environmental and social issues through sustainable business, while also improving their public speaking and teamwork skills.

As in the previous meeting, a friendly and inclusive atmosphere prevailed. Students and teachers from different countries took part in workshops, discussions, and creative tasks, sharing experiences and seeking solutions to today’s environmental challenges. This visit strengthened intercultural ties among participants and encouraged them to continue building a healthier and more sustainable world.
